The builder's post-show report lists the 620 FLY among five exhibited motor yachts, with the 800 FLY receiving European-premiere billing. The 620's own North American debut took place at Miami in February, so neither milestone should be confused with a September global launch.
For a buyer seeking a three- or four-cabin yacht around nineteen metres, the Cannes appearance provided a way to inspect the deck relationship against smaller Galeon models. Its unusual asymmetric plan is particularly important to experience from inside.
Terrace Mode below a substantial flybridge
Galeon quotes roughly 55 square metres of space on the flybridge and describes a fold-out Terrace Mode with access from the master cabin. The design creates different places for outdoor dining, protected rest and water-level relaxation on the same platform.
The main-beam figure is 5.13 metres but the builder says its balconies can extend the maximum beam to 8.29 metres when opened. Those open-at-anchor dimensions should not be mistaken for the yacht's standard berth requirement or navigational clearance.
Accommodation alternatives
The official model specification lists three- or four-cabin plans plus a crew space, reflecting differing private-owner and hospitality requirements. A buyer should obtain the selected general arrangement and identify any storage lost when extra berths are chosen.
The yacht has three en-suite or day-head facilities in the published configuration and a 700-litre freshwater capacity. These are useful reference figures but do not establish how long a particular party can remain at sea without resupply.
Power and the intended programme
Galeon publishes up to 31 knots maximum speed and fuel tankage totalling 3,400 litres. Performance is a manufacturer estimate and depends on engines, displacement and sea conditions, so the individual yacht's trial is still decisive.
