A Skydeck hidden inside a coupé profile
The new Galeon 570 SKY uses an electrically folding upper helm to provide flybridge functionality without permanently changing the yacht’s low sports-yacht silhouette. When the top station is not in use, the console and seating can be concealed to restore the cleaner profile associated with the SKY range.
A large opening sunroof above the lower helm adds another open-air element, while a side door gives the skipper direct access to the side deck during docking. The layout is designed to let owners choose between protected lower-helm operation and elevated outdoor driving without committing to a conventional full-time flybridge.
Beach Mode pushes usable beam beyond six metres
At 17.55 metres overall with a standard beam of 4.82 metres, the 570 SKY sits firmly inside Luxury Yacht Guide’s under-24m scope. Galeon’s optional Beach Mode package lowers balconies on both sides of the cockpit, increasing the usable beam to about 6.87 metres and creating a much wider waterside terrace.
The package also uses opening side windows and a convertible bar beside the galley to connect the interior with the aft deck. Buyers can configure the stern with a single crew cabin or select the Carousel Mode package, which adds a tender garage, rotating aft seating and a convertible table arrangement.
Three cabins support longer cruising
Below deck, the yacht provides three cabins and two bathrooms, with a full-beam owner’s cabin amidships. Galeon has paired the accommodation with substantial storage and a 2,200-litre fuel capacity, positioning the 570 SKY as more than a short-range day yacht despite its sporty exterior treatment.
The Atlantic Design Package by Insitu & Partners adds a coordinated interior and exterior palette, while the galley is deliberately integrated into the main social area. That arrangement keeps food preparation connected with both the saloon and the opening port-side bar when the yacht is in Beach Mode.
Four Volvo Penta shaft-drive packages
Galeon offers four shaft-drive power packages, beginning with twin Volvo Penta D11-670 engines and rising to twin D13-900s. The most powerful installation gives a combined 1,800hp, allowing owners to choose between range-oriented cruising and stronger performance within the same platform.
The 570 SKY therefore fills a useful gap between conventional hardtop sports cruisers and larger flybridge yachts. Its defining feature is not simply added deck space, but the ability to reveal or conceal different functions as conditions and owner priorities change.
