FP44 fills an important middle position

At 13.26 metres in hull length, the FP44 sits between the FP41 and FP48 in Fountaine Pajot's current sailing range. That makes it a useful reference point for owners deciding whether they need the additional volume of a larger catamaran.

The Barcelona display will place all three models within the same stand environment, allowing visitors to compare how the design develops across several sizes. The FP55 and FPY59S then extend that progression further for buyers considering a larger step upward.

Living spaces are designed around shared use

The FP44 has a 7.44-metre beam and is designed around generous relaxation areas in the cockpit, lounge deck and forward section of the coachroof. A large opening between the saloon and cockpit is intended to reduce the sense of separation between indoor and outdoor living.

That layout is particularly suited to warm-weather cruising, where owners often spend most of the day outside but still want easy access to the galley and shaded interior. Barcelona provides an appropriate Mediterranean setting in which to assess those design priorities.

Three- and four-cabin layouts broaden the ownership options

Fountaine Pajot offers the FP44 in several accommodation arrangements, including Maestro owner-focused versions and a four-cabin Quatuor configuration. The owner layout can include a multifunction space that becomes a dressing room, office, workshop or compact extra cabin depending on the buyer's needs.

This flexibility matters because private owners and charter-oriented buyers often want very different things from yachts of the same length. A configurable interior lets the FP44 serve multiple ownership patterns without changing the underlying hull and deck platform.

ODSea+ adds another technology choice

Like the FP41, the FP44 can be specified with Fountaine Pajot's ODSea+ electric propulsion package. The system combines twin 25 kW motors with battery storage, hydrogeneration and solar production, giving buyers an alternative to conventional diesel propulsion.

The Barcelona Boat Show therefore gives visitors more than a simple layout comparison. Owners can also discuss propulsion, energy management and equipment choices while examining the yacht in person from 14 to 18 October 2026.
