Ferretti Yachts 720 returns as a major 2026 premiere
The Ferretti Yachts 720 measures 22.5 metres overall and is one of the most substantial models in the Group’s sub-24-metre portfolio. Its latest evolution focuses on a refreshed layout, stronger visual connection with the sea and a more contemporary treatment of the flybridge-yacht formula.
Exterior design is by Filippo Salvetti, while IdeaeItalia is responsible for the interiors. Ferretti Group says the redesign develops the brand’s 'Just Like Home' concept with more functional and light-filled spaces across the main deck and accommodation areas.
Riva 56 Rivale Super adds a second new-model focus
Alongside the Ferretti 720, the Riva 56 Rivale Super gives Genoa visitors a very different interpretation of luxury boating. The new model evolves Riva’s established Rivale line with a lower, sportier profile and a stronger emphasis on open-air use and performance.
The contrast between the two premieres is useful for buyers comparing the market below 24 metres: one is a full flybridge cruiser designed around volume and extended stays aboard, while the other concentrates on style, speed and more immediate day-to-weekend use. That makes the pair a particularly useful side-by-side comparison at Genoa.
Five Ferretti Group brands share the display
The wider Genoa fleet brings together models from Riva, Pershing, Itama, Ferretti Yachts and Wally. That gives visitors access to several different hull concepts, propulsion choices and deck arrangements within one group display.
For LYG readers, the relevant part of the stand is the Group’s sub-24-metre offering, where owner operation, family cruising and marina practicality remain important alongside design and performance. The 720 and 56 Rivale Super sit at opposite ends of that spectrum while sharing the same premium positioning.
Genoa runs through October 6
The Genoa International Boat Show runs from October 1 to 6, 2026, placing the two premieres in front of one of Europe’s largest pleasure-boating audiences only weeks after the Cannes Yachting Festival. The timing keeps both models in front of Mediterranean buyers during the peak autumn show season.
Ferretti Group’s appearance also reinforces the importance of the autumn Mediterranean show season for new-model launches. For buyers considering yachts below 24 metres, Genoa provides a direct opportunity to compare fresh designs before the market moves toward the late-October Fort Lauderdale show.
