BENETEAU has confirmed the Swift Trawler 54 for its 2026 Fort Lauderdale show programme, alongside the new-generation Gran Turismo range. The builder lists the long-distance motor yacht at 17.13 metres overall, safely within LYG's length limits.
The Swift Trawler 54 provides a cruising-focused contrast to the express motor yachts displayed by the same yard. This is a scheduled Florida appearance rather than a claim that the model is making its worldwide debut.
A different operating brief
The Swift Trawler design is intended for comfortable passage-making and longer stays aboard rather than a short-duration speed-led programme. Owners assessing the model should consider the relationship between helm, galley, cabins and access to the working deck.
Fuel range varies by loading, conditions, speed and reserve policy, so a brochure headline should not be treated as an assurance for a planned voyage. Yacht-specific sea-trial and machinery data remain necessary.
