BENETEAU has placed the Gran Turismo 40 Open on its official Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show line-up for 28 October to 1 November 2026. At 12.3 metres overall, the new-generation express motor yacht enters Luxury Yacht Guide's coverage range.
The model is included among BENETEAU's featured premieres alongside the larger Gran Turismo 50. The builder's announced programme separates the open-deck 40 from its earlier Gran Turismo 40 Coupe, so the names should not be used interchangeably.
An open-air approach to the range
The Gran Turismo 40 Open is presented as a more open interpretation of the new Gran Turismo family, prioritising outside living and direct access between social areas. Actual weather protection and deck circulation are best assessed aboard the hull being displayed.
The manufacturer gives its length as 12.3 metres on the event page, but its published beam figure appears inconsistent with a boat of this class. LYG is not repeating that apparent measurement error as a verified specification.
A Florida stop after the model reveal
The boat joins BENETEAU's line-up at Bahia Mar's Fort Lauderdale show from 28 October through 1 November. The builder also names Gran Turismo 50 and several Antares and Swift Trawler models in its programme.
The announcement establishes a scheduled appearance, not a completed sea trial or a new owner delivery. A visitor interested in a particular equipment package should book a model-specific appointment.
