The Fly 60 uses a conventional length in a refined package

At 18.25 metres overall and 5.05 metres across the beam, the Fly 60 sits in one of the most competitive parts of the luxury motor-yacht market. Azimut uses the platform to balance owner operation, guest accommodation and enough crew separation for more formal use.

The exterior design by Stefano Righini combines a recognisable Azimut profile with a large flybridge and substantial bow seating. Achille Salvagni's interior treatment focuses on softer forms and residential detailing rather than a purely technical marine aesthetic.

Three guest cabins are joined by separate crew space

The lower deck provides three guest cabins with six berths, while a separate crew cabin adds two additional berths. This arrangement gives owners flexibility to operate privately or bring professional assistance aboard without sacrificing one of the main guest cabins.

Twin D13 diesels deliver the current performance figures

Azimut lists two Volvo Penta D13 engines rated at 900 horsepower each. The builder publishes a maximum speed of up to 31 knots and a cruising speed of up to 26 knots under its stated test conditions.

Fuel capacity is 2,800 litres and water capacity 750 litres, giving the yacht practical reserves for Mediterranean-style cruising. Actual range and fuel burn will depend on loading, weather, hull condition and the chosen cruise speed.

Automated trim supports easier running

The Fly 60 uses automated interceptors to optimise trim across different speeds and loading conditions. Azimut says the system can also compensate for lateral imbalance caused by sidewinds or uneven weight distribution, reducing the amount of manual trim adjustment required from the helm.

This type of assistance reflects a wider trend toward simplifying operation on increasingly sophisticated owner-driven yachts. The Fly 60 combines traditional twin-diesel propulsion with control systems intended to make everyday handling more predictable and less demanding.
