Aquila has announced nine power catamarans for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November, with seven within Luxury Yacht Guide's 12.00–23.99-metre remit. The builder identifies the 54, 50 and 46 Yacht, 46 and 42 Coupe, 47 Molokai and 45 Sport among the relevant exhibits.
Its separate 35 Sport and 36 Molokai are below this site's minimum length and are not included as LYG yachts. Aquila's official show page places the display at Dock E, Bahia Mar Yachting Center.
Four different kinds of powercat
Aquila's Yacht line addresses extended onboard stays, the Coupe models take a different low-profile approach and the Molokai and Sport ranges emphasise day boating and open-deck use. The precise layout, propulsion and equipment vary significantly between those families.
The manufacturer's list allows a buyer to compare intended use rather than assume that the nine displays are variants of one hull. An appointment request should identify the exact model and desired configuration.
The larger boats within LYG's remit
The 54, 50 and 46 Yacht and the 46 and 42 Coupe all sit inside LYG's covered length band, along with the named 47 Molokai and 45 Sport. Their specifications must be checked individually for marina dimensions, berthing and intended cruising range.
Aquila is promoting the 35 Sport's Americas debut, but that smaller boat belongs to Leisure Boat Guide instead. The editorial distinction avoids treating the whole stand as a luxury-yacht launch.
Plan a specific visit
The official listing gives the show dates and Aquila's Dock E position at Bahia Mar, with tours available by advance request. The number of models does not mean every boat can be visited without an appointment or that each is a first-time launch.
