Fort Lauderdale gives the model a major US platform

Absolute's current model page identifies the Navetta 66 with the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, scheduled from 28 October to 1 November. The event gives US buyers a direct opportunity to compare the yacht against other large flybridge models in the same size sector.

Boat-show appearances matter particularly in this segment because volume and circulation are difficult to judge from renderings alone. Prospective owners can assess sightlines, stairs, flybridge proportions and cabin separation in a way that technical drawings cannot fully communicate.

The 19.63m hull is built around interior volume

The Navetta 66 measures 19.63 metres overall with a 5.52-metre beam, dimensions that support a broad saloon and substantial lower-deck accommodation. Transparent gunwales and large areas of glazing are used to reduce the visual weight of the high-volume superstructure.

Absolute also emphasises flexible furniture and open views across the exterior decks. The design is therefore intended to feel less enclosed than traditional high-sided cruising yachts, even though the platform prioritises space and protection over a low sporting profile.

Twin IPS1350 units form the current power package

The model is listed with two Volvo Penta D13 IPS1350 units, each rated at 735kW. Fuel capacity is 3,600 litres and fresh-water capacity is 910 litres, supporting extended coastal use and longer periods away from a home marina.

Pod drives also give the designers more freedom below deck compared with conventional shaft lines. For owners, the practical benefits include joystick manoeuvring and potentially easier low-speed handling, though real performance will vary according to loading and sea conditions.

The Navetta family remains central to Absolute's range

The Navetta 66 sits between smaller and larger models in a broad family that extends from the 50 to the 75. This allows buyers to compare similar design ideas at different scales rather than moving between completely different product philosophies.

Its Fort Lauderdale presence reinforces the importance of the US market to the Italian builder. At 19.63 metres, the Navetta 66 remains large enough to offer professional-crew capability while still staying firmly inside LYG's sub-24-metre editorial scope.
