Absolute Yachts has presented the Navetta 66 Aurora as the largest of its three Navetta world premieres at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival. Measuring 19.63 metres overall, Aurora develops the range’s emphasis on open views and flexible living spaces while remaining comfortably below the 24-metre threshold.
The builder describes the model as a new dawn for luxury cruising, with a generous flybridge, modular furnishings and a terrace-style cockpit intended to make the aft deck more adaptable. The design also places strong emphasis on privacy and the ability for different groups onboard to use separate spaces.
Nearly 20 metres with substantial beam
The Navetta 66 measures 19.63 metres in length and 5.52 metres across the beam. Absolute lists fuel capacity at 3,600 litres, fresh water at 910 litres and a maximum capacity of 16 people, giving the yacht the reserves and onboard volume expected for extended cruising.
The accommodation includes a master suite, a VIP cabin, a twin cabin, a convertible fourth cabin and separate crew accommodation. That layout gives owners flexibility for family use, guests or professional support without forcing the yacht into the profile of a much larger vessel.
Twin D13-IPS1350 propulsion
Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 units, each rated at 735kW according to Absolute’s official specification. At this size, pod propulsion is as much a packaging decision as a performance one because machinery-space efficiency has a direct effect on cabin and service areas.
The Navetta 66 carries a Category B rating in the builder’s published data. The combination of IPS manoeuvrability, broad beam and generous tankage is intended to support extended coastal cruising as well as the day-to-day demands of marina-based ownership.
Aurora tops Absolute’s Cannes premiere trio
Alongside Aurora, Absolute is launching the Navetta 50 Calypso and Navetta 58 Andromeda at Cannes. The three-yacht presentation gives the yard a refreshed range across several of the most important sizes in the luxury cruising market.
At 19.63 metres, the Navetta 66 can deliver extensive accommodation, crew separation and multiple outdoor living zones without crossing into the 24-metre-plus superyacht sector. That makes it one of the more significant launches in Absolute’s current range.
A large-yacht layout below the superyacht threshold
The attraction of the Navetta 66 is the amount of separation it can offer between owner, guest and crew spaces while remaining in a sub-24-metre package. That can be important for buyers who want professional support aboard but do not want the operating profile of a substantially larger yacht.
The design still needs to prove itself in use, particularly in areas such as visibility, noise, service access and deck protection. Those practical factors will determine how well Aurora converts its generous dimensions into comfortable long-term cruising.
