A new hotel concept centred on recovery

Hilton has detailed Signia Restore, a dedicated fitness and wellness programme planned for the new Signia by Hilton Indianapolis. The concept was introduced in August 2026, ahead of the hotel's forthcoming opening, and is intended to support guests seeking exercise, recovery or an uninterrupted personal routine during travel. It has not yet been evaluated as a completed guest experience.

The broader aim is to move beyond a room of exercise machines by combining activity, rest and advice in one organised environment. A wellness concierge is intended to help visitors select sessions suited to their available time and interests. What this offers in practice will depend on staff expertise, reservations and final operating arrangements.

Two distinct recovery environments

The planned Physical Recovery and Reset Zone will include an infrared halotherapy red-light sauna, hybrid sauna, sensory showers and a cold therapy room. A separate Mental Recovery and Readiness Zone is designed around relaxation equipment, including Zero G MindSync loungers, Normatec compression and percussive therapy. The two areas are presented as complementary rather than interchangeable treatments.

Hilton also identifies Aescape robotic bodywork and an Ammortal Chamber combining several modalities, including light and breathwork. These are commercial wellness services, not independently verified medical treatments for disease. Guests should ask about suitability, contraindications and supervision, particularly when combining heat, cold or compression during a short visit.

Fitness remains an essential part of the mix

The exercise facilities will include strength and cardio equipment, Peloton bicycles, rowing stations and functional training areas. Signia Restore is also expected to offer retail products covering hydration, wellness essentials and clothing. That combination is intended to help travellers maintain a familiar rhythm rather than stop training each time they leave home.

The right routine after a long journey may involve a brief stretch and early night rather than an intense session, so flexibility is valuable. Technology can provide engaging options, but comfort and sound guidance should remain the criteria for selecting a treatment. A sophisticated machine cannot replace an individual assessment where health limitations exist.

Designed for visitors as well as hotel guests

Hilton says Signia Restore will be open to local visitors as well as overnight guests, with opportunities for private groups, retreats and executive gatherings. The Indianapolis site is intended as the first in a programme that could reach selected other Signia properties. No blanket launch schedule for the wider brand has been confirmed.

For travellers, the key questions are whether a particular service is included with accommodation, how long it takes, and whether reservations are required. The concept may offer an appealing wellness interlude on a city break, provided expectations remain grounded in actual services rather than promotional claims about enhanced performance.
