NoMad Singapore has opened reservations ahead of its late-2026 debut on Orchard Road, bringing the design-led luxury brand to Asia Pacific for the first time. The 173-room hotel will combine 25 suites, destination dining, cocktails, a rooftop pool and an art programme dominated by Singapore-based artists.

NoMad brings its eclectic luxury style to Orchard Road

The hotel occupies a prominent Orchard Road address close to Singapore’s retail, dining and cultural districts. Architecture by WOHA reworks the former Faber House with a 14-storey waterfall and planted vertical façade, giving the property a more biophilic identity than a conventional city hotel.

Interiors by Kevin Klein Design reinterpret NoMad’s New York roots and European influences through Art Deco references and Peranakan details. Pale blues and greens, burlwood, marble and custom textiles are intended to give the rooms a layered residential feel rather than a standardised international-hotel aesthetic.

173 rooms include 25 suites

Accommodation is spread across 12 guest-room levels and includes 71 Atelier rooms measuring 32 square metres. The hotel will also offer 42-square-metre Parlour Suites and 43-square-metre NoMad Suites, with bathtubs and more generous living areas.

That room mix positions the property squarely in the luxury-lifestyle segment rather than the traditional grand-hotel category. For travellers spending several days in Singapore, the larger rooms and suites should appeal to guests who want a city base that feels more residential and design-conscious.

Dining extends from rooftop grill to poolside cocktails

NoMad Grill will occupy the top of the building, combining a New York-style chophouse format with wood-fired meats, seafood and a raw bar. Elsewhere, Lù Bar will extend from the open-air reception to a terrace and pool overlooking Orchard Road.

The wider food-and-drink programme also includes concepts designed to shift from daytime to evening use, giving local residents as well as hotel guests reasons to visit. That is an important part of NoMad’s positioning, where restaurants and bars are intended to function as social destinations rather than hotel amenities in the background.

A Singapore-led art programme adds local character

The hotel plans to display more than 1,860 artworks, with 90 percent created by Singapore-based artists. The collection will mix contemporary photography, floral works, exhibition posters and historical material to connect the hotel’s modern architecture with the city’s cultural history.

NoMad is also working with ART:DIS to commission artists with disabilities, extending the programme beyond decorative art selection. For travellers who value design and cultural context as much as conventional luxury touches, that local emphasis should make the hotel more distinctive than a purely imported brand concept.
