An intimate hotel planned for Sevilla
Four Seasons and Spanish investor Blasson have announced a hotel in a landmark building on Plaza Nueva in Sevilla. The proposed property is an approximately 55-room hotel in the city’s Arenal Quarter.
The site is close to prominent historic and cultural attractions, including the cathedral and Royal Alcázar area. It is a future project rather than a hotel that has already opened its doors.
A building being reimagined
The five-storey building is due to undergo a full revitalisation, with open-air terraces and new guest accommodation. Madrid-based Lamela will lead architecture, while Belén Domecq is named for the interiors.
The operator’s release describes rooms from approximately 40 to 117 square metres. These measurements are project plans and the final bookable inventory may change before opening.
Adding an inland stop to Andalucía
Sevilla offers a cultural extension for travellers visiting southern Spain by yacht. Access from a chosen marina or harbour will require road or rail arrangements to reach the inland city.
The hotel’s central location does not mean that yachts can moor at Plaza Nueva. Berthing and transportation should be arranged independently of a room booking.
What travellers should confirm
The development is intended to bring a new Four Seasons address to one of Spain’s historic city centres. Its announced scale and design team distinguish it from an existing resort on the coast.
