Racing history in the city
Porsche opened Raceborn – 75 Years of Porsche Motorsport at Beijing Genesis Centre on 28 August 2026. A companion brand pop-up along the Liangma River received a motorsport-themed redesign on the same day.
Together, the displays connect the marque’s competitive record with a wider public audience. This is a cultural exhibition announcement rather than a new road-car model launch.
Twelve races across continents
The main programme examines twelve races spanning Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. It begins with endurance milestones and moves through different eras of the manufacturer’s competition history.
The display also refers to Porsche’s class success at Le Mans in 1951. Visitors should consult the exhibition organisers for its current schedule and access arrangements.
Beyond the professional circuit
A chapter at the Liangma River pop-up explores how racing identity extends into everyday driving. Porsche says the pair of spaces are intended to tell connected stories rather than operate as unrelated promotions.
Brand ambassador Eileen Gu joined the opening ceremony, connecting the event to performance and sport outside motorsport. Those comments are part of the launch, not independent performance evidence about a particular vehicle.
A stop for collectors and travellers
For visitors interested in design and automotive heritage, the exhibition offers a cultural reason to explore Beijing. It can complement a longer Asia journey without being a marine event in its own right.
