Two resort experiences on one Hawaiian island
Four Seasons has announced a Thanksgiving 2026 programme across its two resorts on Lanai in Hawaii. Guests can choose the beachfront Four Seasons Resort Lanai or Sensei Lanai, an adults-only retreat in the island's uplands.
The programme covers 26 November dining alongside activities across the holiday period, including wellness, music and experiences for families. The two properties suit different preferences: one emphasises the coast, while the other has a quieter wellness-centred atmosphere.
Osteria Mozza's island Thanksgiving
At Four Seasons Resort Lanai, Osteria Mozza will serve a holiday meal with Diestel hen turkey and Kurobuta porchetta, together with pizza, antipasti, pasta, charcuterie, cheese and desserts.
The selection mixes familiar Thanksgiving ideas with Italian dishes, giving families a choice of flavours beyond one fixed traditional plate. Availability, seating times and any required reservations should be confirmed directly with the resort rather than inferred from the announcement.
A Sensei by Nobu interpretation
The adults-only Sensei Lanai property will present a set menu at Sensei by Nobu, including pumpkin soup, roast turkey with pineapple stuffing, Yukon mashed potatoes, cranberries and Brussels sprouts dressed with yuzu vinaigrette.
A pie bar completes the announced meal. It offers a different setting and style from the beachfront resort's Osteria Mozza programme. Guests should confirm the final price, any drink arrangements and whether non-resident diners can reserve.
Music in the Hawaiian setting
The island's holiday calendar includes sunset sessions in Luau Gardens and performances with musicians and artists such as Cassandra Coleman, Molly Tuttle and Ketch Secor. The published programme also mentions Hawaiian music and hula.
Some sunset performances do not require an admission reservation, although food and drinks are sold separately. Schedules can change, so travellers should check individual dates instead of assuming every named performer appears every night.
Wellness and a moment of gratitude
Hawanawana Spa will include complimentary seasonal activities such as gratitude walking meditation, sound meditation and a letter-writing ceremony. At Sensei Lanai, a guided sunrise walk on Koloiki Ridge and a Gratitude & Flow activity combine reflection with gentle movement.
The focus is on slower experiences rather than high-intensity fitness. Visitors should consider weather, terrain and their own mobility before joining outdoor activities. The published programme is not a promise of therapeutic benefits or a substitute for individual health advice.
Family events and activities for children
The beachfront resort also offers cookie decorating, films, crafts and other holiday activities. The Kids For All Seasons programme caters to children aged five to twelve, with certain themed party nights charged separately.
This is an important distinction for families comparing resorts: Sensei Lanai is adults-only, while the beachfront property is set up to welcome children. Parents should check supervision arrangements, programme places and age limits before arrival.
Planning the trip and total costs
Lanai's isolation can be part of its appeal, but reaching the island and moving between resorts requires transport planning. Guests travelling from elsewhere in Hawaii should verify available transfer options, particularly if combining the stay with an ocean or island cruise.
The 19 October release announces experiences but does not provide one all-inclusive Thanksgiving package price. Accommodation, meals, selected activities and transfers may each have different rates and cancellation terms, making written confirmation essential.
