Conrad Hotels & Resorts has expanded its 1/3/5 guest experience programme across properties on five continents. Rather than requiring a full-day excursion, the scheme offers concierge-curated activities designed to fit a one-, three- or five-hour opening in a traveller's schedule.
Each hotel develops activities linked to local culture, crafts, food or landscape, so the name describes a shared format rather than one identical global itinerary. The programme is a useful option for yacht owners adding an overnight hotel stop to a wider journey.
The hour is the organising idea
A one-hour experience can introduce a local craft or taste without taking over the day, while a three-hour slot allows a more involved visit. A five-hour excursion creates room to explore beyond a hotel's immediate surroundings.
Conrad says the hotel's own concierge shapes the activities around the destination. That local approach means visitors should check the actual offering at their chosen property instead of expecting a standard excursion everywhere.
Examples across cities
The brand lists art and tea in Singapore, an olfactive workshop connected to Greek perfumery in Athens and a theatre experience in Nashville. Its programme also includes a twilight kayak excursion from Conrad Orlando, dependent on nature and local conditions.
These experiences differ in pace, group setting and logistics. A traveller may prefer a quieter cultural workshop between flights or a more active outing when remaining in the destination for several days.
How guests book
The 1/3/5 activities are available through the concierge and individual hotel websites, according to Hilton. The company says the framework spans Conrad properties across five continents.
Participation, timing and local charges should be checked with the hotel before arranging the rest of an itinerary. What has expanded is the curated programme, not a promise of unlimited access to every experience.
