Bentley's new Torcal is the brand's first all-electric model range, combining a luxury SUV body with a choice of two performance levels. The standard Torcal and Torcal S use a new visual language but retain the marque's emphasis on crafted materials and customisation.

The maker quotes a peak of 888 PS for the S with launch control active, a specification that needs to be read as a manufacturer claim. The development gives buyers a fully electric alternative within Bentley's own luxury portfolio rather than a renamed combustion model.

Two versions, one electric platform

Bentley positions the standard Torcal around a balance of everyday comfort and strong performance, while the S receives more assertive dark exterior details. The range introduces a new floating diamond grille incorporating 76 individually applied LED elements.

Those design cues bring a distinctive front end to a vehicle that does not need a conventional engine air intake. Buyers can compare each version's official specification and options rather than infer identical equipment across the range.

Craft and connected cabin

The cabin combines curved display screens with wood veneers, leather and suede-like Dinamica surfaces. Bentley also describes Dynamic Symphony, a composed in-car sound experience drawing on acoustic recordings of instruments instead of treating silence as the only electric-car experience.

The manufacturer presents new connected and passenger-wellbeing technology as part of the project. Exact functionality may vary by model and market, so the actual order sheet matters more than a launch headline.

Power and ownership considerations

Bentley states that the Torcal S can produce 653 kW and 1,350 Nm when launch control is active. These are official peak figures, not independently verified acceleration or motorway range results.

The brand also lists genuine accessories, winter wheels and EV-specific servicing through its retailer network. Charging arrangements and local prices need confirmation before a buyer plans a long trip or commits to the vehicle.
