A 16.05-metre platform designed for long-distance use

The 52 Exploration measures 16.05 metres overall with a 7.28-metre beam and a draft of 1.12 metres. Xquisite lists displacement at 28 tonnes and CE Category A Ocean certification, placing the model in a category intended for serious offshore cruising rather than short-range coastal use alone.

Fuel capacity is 5,000 litres and fresh-water capacity is 860 litres, while holding tanks total 400 litres. Those figures support the builder’s emphasis on extended voyages by giving owners substantial onboard reserves without moving the yacht beyond the 24-metre threshold that separates the Luxury Yacht Guide sector from larger superyachts.

Three cabins and three bathrooms shape the accommodation

The standard accommodation is arranged around three cabins and three bathrooms, with sleeping capacity for four to six people. Xquisite has also developed several onboard zones including the saloon, galley, main helm, flybridge and foredeck, giving the catamaran multiple social and operational spaces across its broad beam.

A dedicated water-toy garage adds another layer of cruising practicality. On a yacht of this size, separating leisure equipment from guest spaces can make day-to-day use easier, particularly for owners carrying paddleboards, diving equipment or other gear that would otherwise compete with tender and storage space.

Eight kilowatts of solar form part of the energy package

The yacht carries an 8 kW solar roof, giving the electrical system a meaningful renewable-energy input while at anchor or underway. Solar generation cannot replace all hotel and propulsion loads, but on a cruising catamaran it can reduce generator running for domestic systems and help support longer periods away from shore power.

The wide roof area available on a power catamaran is particularly well suited to solar integration. Xquisite has used that platform characteristic to make renewable generation part of the yacht’s basic concept rather than treating panels purely as an aftermarket addition.

Hybrid propulsion adds a 220 kWh battery bank

Xquisite lists an optional hybrid system using two 180 kW electric motors, two 160 kW generators and a 220 kWh battery bank. The arrangement gives owners an alternative to a conventional propulsion-only installation while retaining generator support for longer passages and higher continuous loads.

The builder says production slots can be reserved for future builds, with the model forming part of a broader move into solar-assisted power catamarans. For LYG buyers, the 52 Exploration is notable because it combines offshore-oriented tankage and accommodation with integrated solar generation and a factory-designed hybrid option in a package just over 16 metres long.
