A 33-foot platform built around different uses

Wellcraft has introduced the new 33 family with two closely related models, the 33 T-Top and 33 Speedster, and used the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival for the T-Top’s world premiere. Both measure 10.34 metres overall with a 3.17m beam, keeping the platform firmly within the compact premium-boat market.

The design uses a single-level walkaround deck so movement between bow and stern remains straightforward. Up to two berths provide basic overnight capability, while the main emphasis remains on outdoor use, driving and adaptable social space rather than a large enclosed accommodation plan.

Three cockpit modules change the character of the boat

Wellcraft offers Lounge, Relax and Barracuda aft-cockpit configurations. Lounge maximises seating and storage, while Relax substitutes a large sunbed and U-shaped dining area for owners whose use is more leisure-focused.

The Barracuda package is exclusive to the T-Top and shifts the boat toward family fishing, adding a livewell, fish box, tackle storage and additional rod holders. That modular approach allows the same hull and deck architecture to address noticeably different owner priorities without creating separate specialist models.

More than 50 knots from a twin-stepped hull

Navia Design developed the twin-stepped hull for offshore performance and rapid planing. Wellcraft quotes speeds above 50 knots, with single- or twin-engine Mercury V8 and V10 outboard packages delivering from 350hp to a maximum combined 700hp.

The helm is paired with Garmin displays and the T-Top can be ordered with High or Sport windscreen options. A side dive door, robust deck fittings and the open bow arrangement reinforce the model’s crossover character between performance dayboat, family platform and offshore centre console.

W.I.S.E. construction targets weight and stiffness

The 33 family also uses Wellcraft’s W.I.S.E. construction process, which combines infusion and injection techniques while integrating structural elements into the hull. The builder says the method uses more glass and less resin, improving stiffness while helping control weight.

For buyers, the key distinction is the breadth of use packed into a 10.34m platform. The 33 T-Top is not attempting to mimic a larger cabin yacht; instead it offers high speed, configurable deck space and enough overnight capability to extend a day on the water into a short coastal stay.
