The 70 Long Range starts a new Solaris Power direction

Solaris Power describes the 70 Long Range as the first model in a range dedicated specifically to longer-distance cruising. The project shifts attention away from the more open character of existing Solaris Power models and toward protection, autonomy and extended time aboard.

Its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf gave the builder a major indoor platform to introduce this new direction. The model remains within Luxury Yacht Guide's sub-24-metre limit at 21.24 metres overall despite carrying substantial interior and exterior volume.

Walkaround decks and beach access support practical use

The design uses side passages that run from bow to stern, giving guests and crew a continuous route around the yacht. A broad aft beach area is designed to simplify swimming and tender operations while keeping waterside activity separate from the main saloon.

Solaris also incorporates a spacious tender garage able to accommodate a four-metre water-jet tender together with additional water toys. This is an important feature for owners planning longer trips because equipment can be stored securely without permanently occupying guest deck space.

Twin Volvo IPS power reaches a published 24 knots

The current technical specification lists twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS1200 engines as standard with IPS1350 units available as an option. With the higher-power installation, Solaris publishes a maximum speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.

Fuel capacity is 4,100 litres and water capacity 1,200 litres, reflecting the long-range brief even though the yacht remains a relatively fast planing platform. Actual autonomy will depend heavily on cruising speed, sea conditions, loading and hotel demand.

Accommodation can be adapted around owner priorities

The lower deck can provide three cabins with an additional optional guest cabin and separate crew accommodation. Owners can therefore choose between greater private space and increased guest capacity without changing the overall hull platform.

The launch broadens the choices available to buyers who want longer-distance capability but do not want a traditional trawler aesthetic. Solaris is applying its existing design language to a yacht that places more emphasis on stores, shelter and independent cruising.
