Riviera will give the new 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum its Americas premiere at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The Australian builder is planning a 14-yacht display from 28 October to 1 November, making Fort Lauderdale one of its largest international presentations of the year.

The 6200 will be joined by the 5600 Sport Yacht Platinum and Belize 55 Daybridge for their own Fort Lauderdale debuts. Riviera's wider display will span models from 39 to 78 feet, although Luxury Yacht Guide coverage remains restricted to yachts below 24 metres.

6200 leads the American introduction

The 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum was introduced in Australia earlier in 2026 and now moves into its next major market. Riviera describes the model as the latest evolution of a Sport Yacht line that combines enclosed single-level living with blue-water cruising capability.

The yacht succeeds the long-running 6000 Sport Yacht and brings revised exterior styling, larger entertainment areas and updated interior planning. Its Fort Lauderdale appearance will give buyers in the Americas their first show-based opportunity to inspect the production model.

Three debuts broaden the display

Alongside the 6200, Riviera will present the 5600 Sport Yacht Platinum and Belize 55 Daybridge in Fort Lauderdale for the first time. That creates a spread of layouts for buyers comparing enclosed sport-yacht living with flybridge and daybridge alternatives.

The company says Fort Lauderdale is its largest international show. Bringing 14 yachts also lets Riviera demonstrate the depth of its range rather than relying on a single headline launch.

Indoor-outdoor living remains central

The 6200 uses a large all-seasons aft deck connected to the saloon, galley and dining spaces on one level. A hydraulic swim platform, tender garage and substantial foredeck entertaining area extend the usable exterior space without requiring a flybridge.

That arrangement is aimed at owners who want a protected main-deck living environment while retaining direct connection with the water. It also reflects the broader movement toward flexible social zones on production motor yachts around 18 to 20 metres.

Fort Lauderdale becomes the next sales test

The Americas premiere gives Riviera a chance to measure buyer response after the model's Australian introduction and subsequent international exposure. The United States is an important market for larger owner-operated motor yachts, particularly models designed for coastal cruising and seasonal migration.

For buyers attending FLIBS, the 6200 will sit in a crowded premium segment with strong competition from European and American builders. Riviera's advantage is the ability to present the yacht alongside a broad family of related models in the same display.
