Dubai moves to a new November date

The 2026 Dubai International Boat Show has been rescheduled to run from 25 to 29 November, and Princess Yachts has confirmed its participation. The revised date places the event late in the year and directly after the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, creating a concentrated Middle East exhibition period.

For buyers, the change means two major regional opportunities to meet Princess representatives within a short period. It also allows owners who miss Abu Dhabi to attend a second Gulf event without waiting for the following year's international show season.

The show remains a major regional marketplace

Dubai International Boat Show is one of the Middle East's highest-profile marine events, combining yacht builders with equipment, watersports and luxury lifestyle brands. That broader mix reflects the way yachting is positioned in the Gulf as part of a wider premium leisure market.

Princess's presence gives the builder access to owners from the UAE as well as visiting buyers from across the Gulf, South Asia and other international markets. Dubai's connectivity and marina infrastructure make it a natural meeting point for regional yacht sales and service discussions.

Plymouth-built yachts remain the focus

Princess is using the event to highlight the engineering, bespoke furniture and hand-finished interiors produced at its Plymouth shipyards. That production story helps distinguish the brand in a market where buyers may be comparing British, Italian and other European builders side by side.

For an owner, the most useful part of a boat-show visit is often the ability to compare those details directly. Layout flow, joinery quality, storage, helm ergonomics and access to machinery can all be evaluated more effectively aboard the yacht than through brochures or digital configurators.

Two Gulf shows strengthen regional coverage

With Abu Dhabi scheduled for 19 to 22 November and Dubai following from 25 to 29 November, Princess will have sustained visibility across the UAE during a key period in the local boating season. The back-to-back events also support dealer follow-up and repeat viewings for serious buyers.

For Luxury Yacht Guide readers, the Dubai show provides another chance to discuss current Princess models, regional ownership support and future availability. The 2026 edition runs from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November.
