Owners gather in Porto Cervo

Pardo Yachts staged its 2026 Rendez-Vous in Porto Cervo on 21 and 22 May, bringing owners together for two days built around shared cruising and hospitality on the Costa Smeralda.

The programme reflects the growing importance of owner communities to production-yacht brands, particularly once fleets become large enough to support dedicated regional events.

The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda hosted the opening

Owners arrived during the first day before meeting for a gala dinner at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The setting linked the Pardo event with one of the Mediterranean’s best-known sailing and yachting centres.

The social programme was designed to give owners time away from a conventional sales environment and strengthen direct relationships with the brand and other owners.

A fleet day on the water

On the second day, the Pardo fleet headed out after a morning briefing to watch racing from the water before continuing to Oasi Beach Club for lunch.

For owners, fleet events also provide a useful chance to compare equipment choices, cruising setups and operating experience across different models.

Community becomes part of ownership

Pardo describes the Rendez-Vous around performance, lifestyle and community. That emphasis is increasingly common among luxury boatbuilders, where after-sales engagement can be as important to retention as the original purchase experience.

The Porto Cervo event also set the stage for a broader Cantiere del Pardo format planned for 2027.
