Oyster Yachts brought the Oyster 745 to the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September 2026. The official exhibition listing names the 745 alongside the Oyster 675 and the newly unveiled C60 sailing catamaran.

The 745 is 22.74 metres overall in LYG's production database and therefore sits just below the site's strict 24-metre cut-off. Its inclusion is relevant to owners seeking a substantial bluewater yacht without entering the superyacht category.

The builder describes the 745 as an ocean-going sailing yacht designed for long voyages and time aboard. Its official model image illustrates this article rather than a generic sailing scene.

The 745's long-distance brief

The model offers an extensive deck and cockpit arrangement for extended passages. Owners considering the yacht should assess crew requirements and the work involved in managing its sail plan.

Oyster credits Humphreys Yacht Design with the hull form and emphasises the relationship between waterline, stability and sail area. These are manufacturer design descriptions, not independently measured sea-trial results.

The yard also highlights the ability to tailor living spaces and equipment to individual cruising needs. A buyer should check the specific yacht's accommodation and sail-handling configuration.

A second eligible Oyster

The Oyster 675 was the other named monohull in Cannes and measures 21.07 metres in LYG's database. It provides a second eligible model for comparison at a somewhat smaller scale.

Seeing the two yachts at one event makes questions of layout, deck access and passage-making equipment more concrete. The benefits of extra length need to be weighed against the intended crew and route.
