Jeanneau has confirmed a North American premiere for the Sun Odyssey 455 at the 2026 Annapolis Sailboat Show. The event runs from 15 to 18 October, giving the newly introduced cruising sailboat a regional debut after earlier European presentations.
The official line-up also includes the Sun Odyssey 350, Sun Odyssey 415 and Jeanneau Yachts 55. LYG's relevant group is the 12.35-metre 415, 14.28-metre 455 and 16.98-metre Yachts 55, with the smaller 350 outside the site's size threshold.
A different milestone for the 455
The Annapolis announcement explicitly identifies the 455 as making its North American premiere, not a world debut. This distinction matters after the model's earlier European show appearances.
The 455 represents Jeanneau's new-generation cruising approach with an emphasis on usable living space and sail handling. Prospective American owners will have a local opportunity to inspect its layout and ask about domestic support.
415 provides a compact comparison
The 415 sits below the 455 in the Sun Odyssey range and creates a direct comparison for buyers seeking a manageable family cruiser. Its size can affect berth selection and day-to-day handling as well as internal volume.

The 16.98-metre Jeanneau Yachts 55 offers another level of accommodation for owners expecting longer stays aboard. Its presence gives the stand a wider range without reaching the 24-metre superyacht boundary.
Buyers should discuss owner-operation, guest use and maintenance needs with the team in addition to deck arrangements. Those considerations become increasingly important as size and onboard systems grow.
