Grand Banks’ GB60 offers a familiar trawler-inspired profile alongside a thoroughly modern long-distance motor-yacht specification. At 20.37 metres overall and 5.84 metres in beam, it falls within Luxury Yacht Guide’s sub-24-metre fleet rather than the larger superyacht category.

Two ways to organise the upper deck

The model is available as Flybridge or Skylounge, letting owners choose a more open upper deck or a protected additional living space. The builder’s main interior provides three staterooms intended for extended trips and family use.

An individual layout may vary with configuration, so cabin access, crew facilities and storage should be examined on the actual yacht. Photographs of one version do not establish what another owner ordered.

Published propulsion alternatives

Grand Banks lists standard twin Volvo D13 shaft drives at 900hp, with IPS1200S and higher-power shafts as alternatives. The manufacturer quotes a 26-knot cruising speed and 31-knot top speed for the standard configuration.

Its published 761-nautical-mile figure at 21 knots is tied to specific fuel-burn and test conditions. Payload, reserve policy, sea state and weather will affect any real passage.

Tankage and practical cruising

The technical table gives 5,800 litres of fuel and 1,100 litres of freshwater, making the yacht’s provisioning and energy plan part of the ownership discussion. A comfortable multi-day cruise depends on waste capacity, maintenance access and crew capabilities as much as a speed figure.

A cruising couple may value operating systems and helm visibility differently from an owner who regularly carries a large guest party. The right option schedule should reflect the actual use case.

A current model, not an invented delivery

The GB60 remains an official model and has served as a platform for more recent Grand Banks development. The 2026 GB65 announcement extends its family, but this article is a standalone profile of the GB60 rather than a duplicate GB65 launch report.
