An established yacht beside the premieres
The shipyard's public registration page lists the A46 alongside its Sessantasette, Sessantadue and smaller models for Genoa. The A48 O/B and A32 O/B are specifically advertised as the world premieres, so describing the A46 as a new October launch would be misleading.
The A46 nevertheless provides a substantial walkaround option for buyers interested in the middle of LYG's 12.00–23.99-metre market. The Italian show gives them a chance to compare it with the yard's sportier and larger yachts.
Terraces and access to the sea
Servo-electric fold-down bulwarks enlarge the usable space across the aft cockpit, while a moving swim platform can rise level with the terrace or lower towards the water. This design uses deck geometry rather than simply adding seating to create a flexible area at anchor.
A louvred T-top shelters the dinette and galley, and the forward deck has a sunpad and an additional seated position below the coachroof. Buyers should inspect access and the manufacturer's safety procedure for the opening platform and sides.
Cabin arrangements for an extended day
Below deck, a full-beam aft cabin is accompanied by a convertible forward dinette and a bathroom with a separate shower enclosure. This plan makes overnight cruising realistic without pretending the yacht has the accommodation of a larger three-cabin flybridge.
The official specification gives 14.25 metres overall, 4.29 metres of beam and approximately 1.17 metres of draft. Cranchi lists four berths, 1,500 litres of fuel and 300 litres of freshwater.
What to establish before purchasing
Twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 engines are listed at 480hp each, with category B certification and a maximum persons figure of fourteen. Maximum persons is not the same as the number of guests who can sleep aboard in comfort.
