BENETEAU's official Genoa programme puts the Antares 12 Fly alongside sailing yachts and larger motor-yacht lines, distinguishing it from the smaller Antares boats at the stand. The confirmed dates are 1–6 October, and the builder has not presented the Antares 12 as a fresh world premiere for this edition.
Its inclusion matters to owners looking for a manageable luxury weekender rather than the capacity of a larger crewed yacht. Visitors can compare the flybridge, enclosed wheelhouse and accommodation against other designs in the 12-to-14-metre bracket.
The flybridge and enclosed wheelhouse
The flybridge adds a second social and helm area above a sheltered main deck, so cruising can move between open-air and protected modes. The builder's exterior design places a strong emphasis on light through hull glazing and a connected cockpit.
An outboard installation also changes access around the stern compared with an inboard yacht. Buyers should inspect the individual boat's aft access and tender arrangements rather than relying on a single perspective photograph.
Three cabins within 12.97 metres
The official Antares 12 Fly specification gives 12.97 metres overall and 3.78 metres of beam, with three cabins and a draft of approximately 1.10 metres. BENETEAU quotes fuel capacity of 1,174 litres and fresh-water capacity of 400 litres.
The owner accommodation includes an en-suite arrangement, while the flexible guest plan is intended for family use and short cruising programmes. Those facilities are important context when comparing the yacht with larger but differently organised two-cabin sports cruisers.
A show visit with a practical purpose
The builder lists a maximum engine-power allowance of 900hp, but a buyer should obtain the actual motor specification and a loaded sea trial for the chosen hull. Published ratings cannot be substituted for tested consumption or a route-specific fuel reserve.
