Two October shows give buyers repeated access
BALI lists the 5.2 for the Genoa International Boat Show from 1 to 6 October and again for Barcelona from 14 to 18 October. That gives prospective owners two opportunities to inspect the same model within a short Mediterranean show season.
Repeated appearances are useful because catamarans need to be judged physically. Beam, deck circulation and cabin separation can look impressive on plans, but owners only understand the scale once they walk from the forward lounge through the saloon and out to the aft social area.
The 8.16-metre beam drives the living-space proposition
At 16.41 metres overall with an 8.16-metre beam, the BALI 5.2 uses width as its principal source of usable space. The catamaran format creates broad social areas above the bridge deck while accommodation is distributed between the two hulls.
That volume can make a mid-50-foot yacht feel much larger at anchor, especially for families spending several days aboard. The ownership trade-off is marina access, because a berth for an eight-metre-wide catamaran is not as easy to find as one for a comparable monohull.
Accommodation can be tailored from three to six cabins
BALI offers several interior arrangements, with layouts ranging from three cabins to configurations aimed at much larger guest groups. This lets private owners prioritise larger suites and storage while charter-oriented buyers can choose higher sleeping capacity.
The flexibility is valuable because the same hull can support very different programmes. A couple planning long-distance cruising may prefer fewer cabins and more private space, while a large family may place greater value on separate sleeping areas for children and guests.
The tilting aft door remains a defining feature
The brand’s large tilting aft door can close the saloon for protection or open the interior directly into the cockpit. Combined with the forward deck lounge, the arrangement creates a through-flow social space that distinguishes BALI from more conventionally separated catamaran layouts.
For Mediterranean use, this can make daily life aboard feel particularly open when weather is favourable. Owners still retain the ability to enclose the main living space when conditions deteriorate, giving the yacht a practical all-weather side beyond the dramatic open-plan impression.
