A Turkish open yacht comes to Florida

AIATA, the Turkish boating brand developed by Anadolu Motor, will bring the Sunfinder 50 to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November 2026. The 15.35-metre yacht will make its US show premiere alongside the smaller Wayfinder 38 Cabin and Wayfinder 38 Suntop.

The announcement marks another international step for the builder, which operates within the Anadolu Group and is represented in Florida by Nautical Ventures. The Sunfinder 50 was already introduced elsewhere, so the specific significance is its arrival before American visitors.

Designed with Jarkko Jämsén

The open-air flagship was developed with Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén around the company's 'SUV of the Seas' concept. The emphasis is on providing generous usable spaces while retaining the ability to make fast coastal passages.

The yacht's length places it in the 12-to-24-metre luxury segment, where buyers often want an owner-operated vessel that can serve as both a lively dayboat and a comfortable short-stay cruiser.

Two different places to gather

One of the most distinctive aspects is a bow lounge that functions as a second cockpit rather than only a sunbathing pad. Combined with the large aft entertainment area, it gives guests the option of spending time in separate groups without heading below deck.

Fold-down terraces expand the feeling of space close to the water when the yacht is safely stationary. Their practical use depends on the manufacturer's guidance and conditions, making a detailed walkaround valuable before purchase.

Triple outboards and fast travel

AIATA lists triple-outboard propulsion and claims speeds of up to 50 knots for the Sunfinder 50. This makes the model a performance-oriented option in a category that increasingly combines sporty handling with significant onboard amenities.

A headline speed should be treated as a manufacturer's claim, not a guarantee for every configuration or sea condition. Buyers should ask for sea-trial figures including fuel consumption and passenger load at the cruising speeds they would actually use.

Two layouts below deck

Owners can choose a two-cabin arrangement with one bathroom and a galley or an alternative with two cabins and two bathrooms. That choice is particularly important because the yacht's open deck takes priority over a more conventional enclosed saloon.

For a couple planning weekend stays, a galley may be essential, while guests who value privacy could prefer the second bathroom. The final decision should reflect how often overnight accommodation will be used rather than the arrangement that looks best on a drawing.

The dealer's US introduction

Nautical Ventures is representing AIATA in Florida, and the manufacturer describes the American market as central to its international expansion. Fort Lauderdale is an opportunity to introduce the brand to owners comparing Turkish, European and American designs.

The company has confirmed the three-model show plan but has not established a final US selling price or delivery date in the press announcement. Prospective buyers should check the exact display specification, local support and contractual terms with the authorised dealer.
