An October line-up at stand YE21
Absolute's official announcement names four yachts for Genoa from 1 to 6 October, together with the new brand and stand language previously presented at Cannes. The Navetta 53 is part of that selection and is not described by the shipyard as a new world premiere at this event.
For an owner comparing boats near 16 metres, the display offers a chance to inspect a compact Navetta alongside the larger 62 and 70. The boats share a family name but serve different berth, crewing and interior requirements.
Terrace-style cockpit and main deck
The model uses a glass-fronted cockpit and open gunwales to maintain a view of the sea from seated positions. Its galley lies between the saloon and cockpit, a practical placement for serving both the interior table and outdoor guests.
On the upper deck, the builder combines the helm with dining and lounge areas and offers modular furniture arrangements. Moving between those zones on an actual boat is more revealing than relying solely on deck-plan square metres.
The official event programme also frames the Genoa visit as the first Italian presentation of Absolute’s updated stand concept after Cannes. This is marketing context, not a claim that the Navetta 53 itself is a newly launched yacht.
A three-cabin layout under the flybridge
The shipyard describes a full-beam midships owner's cabin with large side windows, a forward VIP and a separate twin cabin. This gives the Navetta 53 a credible family-and-guest plan while retaining the proportions of a 15.98-metre yacht.
Published dimensions include 4.65 metres of beam, 2,000 litres of fuel and 600 litres of fresh water. Buyers should also consider storage, handling access and whether the chosen layout provides sufficient separation for their usual company aboard.
Machinery and buyer checks
Absolute lists twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 engines, each rated at 320kW, and CE category B. These are manufacturer specifications, and the exact hull's engine installation and equipment choices should be independently checked.
The Genoa showing is an opportunity to examine sightlines, steps and maintenance access before settling on a build or brokerage option. The official Navetta 53 model image used here is not presented as a documentary photograph of the specific boat at stand YE21.
The published maximum onboard capacity is fourteen people under the vessel’s category B specification. That number is distinct from the number of dedicated overnight berths, which must be checked against the selected layout.
