A year-round Bay of Kotor marina
Porto Montenegro is based in Tivat within the Bay of Kotor and operates as a year-round marina. Its infrastructure is designed for a very wide range of yacht sizes, with the operator publishing accommodation extending to 250 metres.
An official berth-count discrepancy
Luxury Yacht Guide has deliberately left total berths unset. Porto Montenegro's own current berthing page presently gives two different figures: its main berthing section states 580 secure berths, while the FAQ on the same official page states 481. The wider marina site describes more than 500 berths. Until those figures are harmonised, selecting one as definitive would be inappropriate.
Arrival and berthside services
Arriving yachts are asked to contact the marina on VHF channel 71. Dock staff provide line handling and yacht assistance. Berths have water and electricity supplies, with electrical capacity varying by berth size.
Services relevant to 12–24 metre yachts
Grey- and black-water pump-out and fibre connectivity are available on berths over 15 metres according to the operator's current information. The marina also provides fuel, diving support, provisioning and wider yacht-service assistance.
Tivat as a cruising base
The marina provides direct access to the Bay of Kotor and the wider Adriatic while supporting longer stays through year-round operations and extensive shoreside facilities. Owners should obtain a current berth quotation for the yacht's exact dimensions and dates.
