Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has planned a Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend from 9 to 12 October 2026. The programme combines seasonal food with craft activities and time outdoors in the mountain setting.
Families can join workshops while other guests enjoy a quieter spa and wellness itinerary. The hotel is using Thanksgiving as a full weekend of experiences rather than only a Sunday meal.
Braidwood's Sunday celebration
Braidwood Tavern is hosting a festive Sunday buffet with turkey carving, prime rib, a Parmesan-wheel risotto station and seasonal sides. Pumpkin pie and other desserts complete the meal.
The Cabin will also provide a Thanksgiving-inspired treat during the weekend, while an afternoon Harvest Table gives visitors a casual gathering place in the lobby. Reservations should confirm the specific dining times.
Craft activities inspired by the season
Guests can make their own SIDECUT steak rub, decorate pumpkins and create wreaths from local foraged ingredients. Maple taffy, made by pouring warm syrup over snow, adds a distinctly Canadian ritual.
A Paint & Sip session with local artist Andrea Mueller offers another activity for adults and older guests. Each workshop is a separate experience rather than an automatic daily offering.
A children's programme after dark
Whistler Cubs provides an evening of guided games and crafts for children aged five to twelve. It allows younger visitors to participate in a dedicated programme while adults spend time elsewhere at the resort.

Botanical spa and fitness
