Wayfarer at Runaway Bay on Australia's Gold Coast places a private marina berth immediately behind each of six planned waterfront homes. Developer Sandbox Properties describes the berths as directly accessible from the properties' back gates, creating a residence designed around frequent days on the water.
The scheme is a development proposal and sales offering rather than six completed homes available for immediate occupation. Exact construction progress, vessel limits, berth title and current availability should be confirmed before treating the visuals as finished amenities.
Water access becomes part of the floor plan
Each three-level residence is described with a lift, heated magnesium pool and spa, sauna, gym, wine storage, marine store and a private residents' beach. The berth is conceived as part of the household's circulation, not an optional waterside facility down the road.
Sandbox specifies a private three-phase, 32-amp service pillar at each berth and says the route towards the Broadwater and Pacific has no bridge clearance obstacles. That still leaves a buyer to check channel depth and the berth's actual length and beam for the intended yacht.
Six homes rather than a large tower
The development looks across the Broadwater towards South Stradbroke Island and uses expansive glazing to connect living areas with water views. Its published materials also describe rooftop solar and battery storage as part of the energy plan.
An independent property review should establish the technical and legal status of those features. A marina berth's service connection is not, by itself, a specification for yacht shore power without compatible onboard equipment.
Questions before committing
A buyer should request pricing, construction milestones, waterfront tenure, marina rules and ongoing service obligations in writing. No asking price is quoted here because the developer's public presentation invites enquiries rather than showing a definitive unit price.
