Its starting point is that Hungary's identity can be experienced directly through the people who preserve its traditions. The announced activities include Herend porcelain, Matyó embroidery, chess, truffle hunting and Tokaj wine.
Into the countryside with truffle hunters
Guests can visit a private Hungarian truffle reserve and accompany expert hunters and trained dogs searching for black truffles. The outing includes an explanation of responsible harvesting followed by an outdoor multi-course lunch with regional wine.
It provides a food experience rooted in a working landscape rather than only a restaurant tasting menu. Bookings should confirm the season and availability of the hunt itself.
Inside the Herend manufactory
Herend porcelain has been associated with hand-painted craftsmanship for more than two centuries. The guided experience gives guests a behind-the-scenes view of artisans and the techniques used to create its pieces.
