Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina has received its first Michelin Key in the 2026 hotel selection. The distinction makes it one of two properties on the island recognised with a Key, according to the hotel's announcement.
Unlike Michelin's restaurant Stars, the hotel Keys assess the overall stay, including character, design, service and the way a property connects with its destination. The recognition arrives as the resort continues to develop its Club Collection.
A new space for Club guests
The resort's recently introduced Club Lounge is an oceanfront space reserved for Club Collection guests. It adds personalised arrivals and departures, concierge support and culinary presentations through the day.
The facilities create a more private hospitality option within a larger oceanfront resort. Access is tied to eligible Club reservations rather than automatically included with every guest room.
The Ko Olina setting
The resort sits on Oahu's western coastline with direct access to Ko Olina's sheltered lagoons. Oceanfront accommodation, pools, golf and wellness facilities support a stay that can combine beach time with exploration of the island.
A visitor choosing between Hawaii's islands should consider the resort's location as well as its award status. Ko Olina is a different base from the busier Waikiki hotel district.
Dining across several styles
The property's restaurants include Mina's Fish House, associated with chef Michael Mina, and the Italian restaurant Noe. La Hiki, Manalo Lounge and Dr. Mai Tai's broaden the choices for guests who prefer to remain at the resort.
The range of dining is part of the property's overall hospitality offering rather than an implication that every venue has earned a Michelin restaurant Star. The new Club Lounge adds a separate culinary experience for its own guests.
How the recognition is assessed
Michelin's hotel inspectors consider architectural character, consistency of service, value and the property's contribution to the destination. A single Key identifies a special stay, not a restaurant rating or a promise about an individual room category.
