Private aircraft meet Lowcountry hospitality

Embraer has scheduled a Charleston customer event for 15–16 October 2026, combining static displays of the Praetor 600E and Phenom 300EV with a hospitality programme at The Dunlin. The aircraft display is planned for Atlantic Aviation at Charleston Executive Airport.

The published invitation required registration by 18 September, so the event should not be treated as an open public exhibition with tickets still available. Its focus is a private conversation with prospective customers rather than an industry-wide airshow.

Two different aircraft categories

The Praetor is designed for longer missions and belongs to the super-midsize business-jet sector, while the Phenom represents a lighter and more compact aircraft. A buyer should consider the frequency of journeys, runway requirements and the number of people travelling.

Cabin comfort matters, but whole-aircraft ownership also involves crew, maintenance, hangar capacity and insurance. Choosing a larger jet is not always the most economical or convenient solution for a shorter route network.

Evaluating a cabin on the ground

A static presentation allows visitors to examine seating, storage, finishes and the way passengers move through a cabin. It cannot establish the full in-flight experience, especially noise, operating performance and comfort during a long journey.

Potential customers should request current technical documents and, where appropriate, a separate demonstration flight. Purchase decisions should not rely entirely on impressions gained while the aircraft is parked.

Charleston as a destination

The customer programme includes a visit to The Dunlin by the Kiawah River, with South Carolina Lowcountry hospitality forming part of the invitation. This setting connects an aviation presentation with an experience of the region’s food and landscape.

The hotel programme does not mean that accommodation or every activity is included in the event package. Invited guests should confirm individual travel and lodging arrangements directly with the organiser.

What the Charleston schedule actually offers

Embraer's invitation schedules the Praetor 600E and Phenom 300EV for static display from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on 15 October at Atlantic Aviation, Charleston Executive Airport. The limited ground session is designed for invited visitors to examine two distinct cabin concepts. It is not the same as an advertised demonstration flight or a public aviation show.

The programme then moves to The Dunlin beside the Kiawah River for cocktails and a South Carolina Lowcountry dinner. Organisers specify that transport to the airport presentation is not provided and accommodation is at attendees' own expense. These practical qualifications matter when comparing private-event invitations with fully arranged travel experiences.

Aircraft selection starts with actual journeys

A prospective buyer should first establish the routes, passenger numbers, luggage demands and airports that matter most to their household or business. The difference between a light jet and a super-midsize aircraft extends beyond interior styling. Current approved performance data, crew needs and operating-cost models provide a stronger basis for comparison than photographs of a cabin.

The official invitation asked guests to register by 18 September, a deadline that has passed. The October gathering should therefore not be presented as an event with unrestricted bookings still open. For invited participants, it provides an opportunity to compare designs and discuss ownership, but it does not establish any particular purchase, delivery slot or future charter rate.

Ownership or charter

Before purchasing a business jet, a traveller may benefit from comparing whole ownership with charter or shared access. The right structure depends on annual flying hours, scheduling flexibility and the importance of having a dedicated aircraft.

The Charleston preview is a useful opportunity for eligible guests to learn about two Embraer models. It does not confirm that any aircraft sales will be concluded during the two-day programme.
