An island devoted to a single party

Cheval Blanc Randheli's Private Island is a separate one-hectare estate within the Maldivian Maison, reached through its own berth and jetty. The accommodation is designed for one travelling group rather than guests sharing conventional hotel corridors.

The operator describes more than 2,200 square metres of usable living space and four bedrooms sleeping up to eight people. Such proportions make the property suitable for an extended family or a small gathering that wants substantial shared areas without losing individual privacy.

Arrival still calls for coordination with the Maison because access to Noonu Atoll typically depends on seaplane or an arranged marine transfer. Detailed timings should be agreed before international flights, private aviation and local boat movements are finalised.

A residence arranged for entertaining

Three connected reception rooms in the main house sit beside a twenty-five-metre swimming pool. A piano, several seating arrangements and a private bar make the gathering rooms usable for different occasions throughout the day.

The principal suite includes expansive views, distinct dressing and bathroom spaces, and places to work or retreat from the larger group. Other bedrooms have private terraces, while a separate guest villa offers added independence for accompanying friends.

These arrangements let one party gather for meals and celebrations without making everyone follow the same schedule. The private house's scale is most valuable when guests use it for both companionship and quiet retreat.

Outdoor life with a private horizon

Terraces, gardens, beach areas and dining pergolas create several outdoor settings around the estate. An afternoon could move from a sea-facing breakfast to a shaded reading pavilion and an evening meal beside the pool.

The residence includes a private spa treatment room, gym and screening room, providing options when weather makes water sports less appealing. The benefit is not just a longer list of facilities but the ability to maintain a personal rhythm without leaving the island.

Marine excursions and swimming still depend on local conditions and the protection of fragile reef environments. The property's jetty is an arrival point, not an invitation to approach coral shallows without a qualified local captain.

Service designed around the group

Cheval Blanc says a dedicated team is available around the clock and accommodated within the estate's service arrangements. Guests can request activities and dining shaped around their party rather than join a fixed resort timetable.

The wider Randheli Maison offers restaurants and its own wellness island, but the Private Island can feel self-contained for much of a stay. Families can decide how much they want to travel beyond their residence.

The attraction lies in the unusual scale of personal space and the control it gives travellers over their days. As with a private yacht, the quality of the experience will depend on planning, attentive service and respectful use of a sensitive marine setting.
