The scent of a coastal holiday can stay with a household long after the yacht has returned to its berth. Acqua di Parma has collaborated with interior architect Laura Gonzalez on La Caletta, a limited summer collection informed by the colours and textures of the Mediterranean.
A coastal landscape translated into objects
Gonzalez drew on secluded coves and the contrast between sea, stone and sunlight to shape the collection’s presentation. Coral-inspired shapes and a warm palette turn an everyday fragrance purchase into a small decorative element for the home.
The collaboration reflects the designer’s established interest in richly layered interiors, but the result is not a commissioned installation aboard a yacht. Buyers should treat the imagery as product design rather than proof of suitability for a moving vessel.
The fragrance and its vessel
The official launch includes an Acropora scented candle alongside a limited collection of objects and fragrance presentations. Materials, shape and finish are intended to give the collection a connection with seaside living without relying only on packaging graphics.
Candles require care wherever they are placed, and an open flame should not be used in an unsafe onboard location. A diffuser or an appropriately selected non-flame fragrance may suit particular spaces better.
A considered seasonal purchase
The attraction is in how a designer has framed a familiar summer mood through proportion and texture. It may make a fitting gift for someone who divides time between a coastal home and a yacht, without the need to buy every item in the collection.
Limited-run product availability and local pricing depend on the official sales channel. A release photograph cannot establish the remaining stock at an individual boutique.
Independent product context
The collaboration was announced for the 2026 summer season, not newly unveiled at the end of September. Its visual language is relevant to LYG’s design and travel readership rather than an equipment announcement.
