Technohull is making its first appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival with the world debut of the Alpha 45, a new 13.8-metre model positioned between the Alpha 40 and Alpha 50 in the Greek builder's performance range. The yacht combines Technohull's established offshore focus with a more configurable deck arrangement and genuine overnight accommodation for two.
The Alpha 45 is built around the builder's Dynastream deep-V hull architecture with ventilated steps, while the published specification gives a 4.30-metre beam and an approximate light-ship weight of 6.5 tonnes. Technohull offers both outboard and inboard propulsion layouts, with the most powerful published configuration allowing up to four 500hp engines.
A new centre-steering helm
One of the most visible changes is at the helm, where Technohull places the steering wheel centrally on a wide console for the first time in one of its models. The arrangement is intended to give the driver a direct sightline forward and reinforce the yacht's performance-led character without sacrificing space for guests around the console.
Opening console deflectors are designed to manage airflow around the helm during faster cruising, while the aerodynamic hardtop and full windscreen give the driving position additional protection. The combination reflects Technohull's attempt to treat speed, offshore usability and passenger comfort as parts of the same design problem rather than separate priorities.
Configurable spaces from bow to stern
The deck uses a walkaround arrangement with generous relaxation space forward and several choices for the aft social area. Owners can favour an L-shaped lounge with a direct route towards the swim platform or choose a larger sunbed arrangement with forward-facing seating, depending on whether entertaining or open lounging takes priority.
This flexibility gives the Alpha 45 a broader role than a single-purpose performance boat. Although the helm and hull remain driver-focused, the main deck is designed to work when the yacht is stopped for swimming, entertaining or spending a full day at anchor, bringing more lifestyle-oriented use into the Alpha formula.
Accommodation for two below deck
Below the console, the cabin provides a double berth for two together with lighting and finishes intended to give the space the character of a compact yacht interior rather than basic occasional accommodation. Access is through a powered side-console door, keeping the main deck circulation clear while creating a distinct private area.
A full-beam head with standing room adds another level of practicality for owners planning longer days or overnight stays. The yacht carries 190 litres of fresh water and 1,400 litres of fuel in Technohull's published specification, supporting a use profile that extends beyond short harbour-to-beach runs.
Cannes opens Technohull's next chapter
The Alpha 45 arrives as Technohull itself makes its debut as an exhibitor at the Cannes Yachting Festival. That gives the new model a dual role: it introduces the latest member of the Alpha range while also representing the Greek builder's first direct presence at one of Europe's principal international yacht shows.
Technohull lists capacity for up to 14 people and B-Offshore design classification, underlining the offshore engineering behind the day-yacht layout. With the Alpha 45 joining the larger Alpha 50 in Cannes, the builder is using its 2026 show debut to present both its newest model and the broader direction of its high-performance luxury range.
