Owner experience drives the evolution

Prestige says the M8 EVO was shaped by experience gathered from existing M8 owners operating in different cruising areas. Rather than replacing the original concept, the builder has concentrated on refining spaces and circulation that matter during longer stays aboard. This approach lets an established platform evolve without discarding the characteristics that first defined it.

The most significant changes focus on how the yacht functions as a home on the water. Greater emphasis has been placed on privacy, storage and the transition between sleeping, working and relaxation areas. Those changes reflect the way larger cruising multihulls are increasingly used for extended private voyages rather than occasional short trips.

The owner suite gains more residential space

Prestige has redesigned the full-beam owner accommodation with twin walk-in wardrobes plus dedicated office and lounge areas. The bathroom arrangement is also intended to create a more private and residential sequence of spaces. Together, the changes push the M8 EVO further toward the apartment-like experience that has become central to large luxury multihulls.

For owners spending weeks aboard, this kind of zoning can matter as much as headline dimensions. Separate places to work, relax and dress reduce the feeling that every activity happens in the same cabin. The result is a more mature interpretation of volume rather than simply adding furniture to a large footprint.

Interior styling becomes warmer and softer

The updated interior moves toward a warmer palette inspired by modernist design and restrained Art Deco references. Prestige describes a combination of textures, softer materials and carefully structured colour choices intended to give each space a more architectural identity. The objective is refinement without making the yacht feel formal or difficult to live with.

This direction also gives owners more flexibility in personalising the yacht. A neutral but layered base can accommodate different fabrics, artwork and loose furnishings without losing visual coherence. On a yacht intended for long-range leisure use, that balance between elegance and day-to-day comfort is commercially important.

Cannes provides the world-premiere stage

Prestige scheduled the M8 EVO for its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival after advance private events in Italy and France. Cannes gives prospective owners a chance to compare the revised model directly with other premium multihulls and large flybridge yachts in the same market.

The M8 EVO also reinforces Prestige’s commitment to the M-Line alongside its conventional F-Line flybridge range. By continuing to develop the multihull platform rather than treating it as a one-off experiment, the builder is positioning wide-beam motor multihulls as a permanent part of its luxury-yacht offering.
