A new entry in the Aria family
The A64 appears with a NEW designation on Cranchi's current model list among its outdoor-oriented yachts. It should not be confused with the established Sessantadue 62 despite their similar stated overall lengths.
The design places a broad aft sunpad between fold-down side bulwarks and provides a retractable chaise longue at the water's edge. The intention is to widen the area used at anchor without demanding a much larger hull.
A deck plan built around shared time
A central galley serves the midships social space, and the side openings connect that area more closely with the sea. Forward, a sunpad sits beside facing lounge seats to create a separate place for guests.
Below deck, the yard shows three cabins and three bathrooms, bringing proper overnight accommodation to the open-yacht concept. Buyers will need a hull-specific plan to assess storage, ventilation and guest circulation.
Cranchi credits hull work to Aldo Cranchi, design to its research department and art direction to Christian Grande. The published visuals represent the model concept rather than a claim that a customer's yacht has been delivered.
Preliminary engineering data
The yard gives an estimated overall length of 20.23 metres, beam of 5.16 metres and dry displacement around 35 tonnes. It states a maximum capacity of sixteen people and explicitly says type approval is pending.
Proposed capacities are approximately 3,300 litres of fuel and 700 litres of freshwater, with twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS1350 diesels rated at 1,000hp each. All those figures are provisional and may change before final certification.
What is known and what remains open
Cranchi's Genoa display list does not include A64, so there is no basis to announce a Genoa show appearance. The development is the publication of the new model and its proposed arrangement.
The folding terraces and aft lounge may appeal to owners seeking an open 20-metre platform with genuine cabins. Real-world use depends on how the final boat handles transitions between anchoring, passage-making and berthing.
A purchase discussion should request the completed specification, approved dimensions, equipment list and expected delivery programme. The manufacturer's A64 image has been selected for the correct model, not reused from a different Cranchi yacht.
