Breva Marine is introducing its new BV1300 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, where the flagship model is appearing in world premiere. The Italian builder's own product range presents the yacht as the Breva 1300, a 12.73-metre RIB designed to move the brand into a larger and more ambitious segment while preserving the performance and open-deck character of its smaller models.
The published specification gives a beam of 4.06 metres and a weight of approximately 4,100 kilograms, with maximum power listed at 1,200 horsepower and capacity for up to 16 people. Breva combines those dimensions with a flexible cockpit concept, overnight accommodation and a large fuel capacity intended to make the new flagship useful for more than short day trips.
A new flagship above the existing Breva range
The 1300 now sits at the top of Breva Marine's line-up and represents a significant increase in scale for the young Italian brand. Its overall length is published at 12.73 metres, while CE length is 11.94 metres, positioning the model as a substantial high-performance RIB rather than simply an enlarged version of a smaller open boat.
The hull is built in fiberglass and paired with neoprene tubes, while the model carries a Category B design classification. Breva's specification also gives a 1,100-litre fuel capacity, creating the reserves needed to support the higher-powered propulsion packages and longer coastal use.
Flexible cockpit layouts shape the deck
Breva places particular emphasis on the ability to adapt the deck to different styles of ownership. The large cockpit and generous circulation routes can be arranged around social seating, relaxation areas and open movement, allowing the yacht to shift between entertaining, swimming and faster cruising without changing its fundamental architecture.
This modular approach is intended to give the flagship a broader personality than a purely performance-focused RIB. Wide passages, substantial seating and carefully positioned handholds are designed to make the deck practical while underway, while the relaxation areas become the centre of the yacht once it is stopped at anchor.
Up to 1,200 horsepower
Breva lists maximum power at 1,200 horsepower, while its current model description highlights a triple 300-horsepower installation as one propulsion arrangement. The focus is on combining acceleration and control with the smoothness needed for a large, heavily equipped RIB carrying guests and cruising equipment.
With approximately 4.1 tonnes of published weight and a four-metre-plus beam, the BV1300 has considerably more volume and mass than the smaller boats in the Breva range. The additional scale allows the builder to integrate greater comfort and storage without abandoning the open layout and direct water access associated with the brand.
A cabin extends use beyond the day
Below deck, Breva provides a cabin designed for privacy, relaxation and overnight stays, moving the flagship beyond the role of a simple open dayboat. The interior uses integrated storage and practical surfaces to make short cruising stays realistic, while the layout retains the premium materials and detailed finish that Breva uses to position the model in the luxury segment.
The Cannes world premiere therefore marks more than the arrival of another model in the range. For Breva Marine, the BV1300 establishes a new flagship platform combining large-RIB performance, adaptable social spaces and overnight capability, giving the Italian builder a broader product with which to address owners looking for both speed and genuine time aboard.
