Omega has brought two opposing sides of the 007 universe together in a new Seamaster Diver 300M collection. The six-watch series is divided equally between James Bond and Spectre editions, giving the long-running relationship between Omega and Bond a new visual counterpoint.

One platform, two identities

All six watches share the same fundamental case architecture and calibre, but the detailing separates the Bond and Spectre families. Omega describes Bond through ideas of duty, discipline and loyalty, while Spectre is positioned around independence and self-interest. Those contrasting identities provide the design narrative for the collection.

The approach is particularly suited to the Seamaster Diver 300M, which has been closely associated with James Bond for more than three decades. Rather than creating a single commemorative edition, Omega has used the new collection to explore that connection through two opposing sets of symbols.

A collector-focused extension of the 007 story

For watch collectors, the appeal lies as much in the concept as the technical foundation. Keeping the six pieces on a common platform makes the differences in insignia, finishing and visual identity easier to read, while retaining the familiar proportions and mechanical character of the Diver 300M.

The collection also shows how established luxury collaborations can evolve without abandoning their core recognisable elements. Bond remains central to Omega's cinematic story, but bringing Spectre into the collection expands that story into a broader collector proposition.
