Four Seasons Resort Megève will reopen for winter on 16 December 2026, its first winter season since receiving France’s Palace distinction. The resort is shaping the season around ski-in, ski-out access, new wellness spaces, food experiences and a private overnight stay high above the main hotel.
The programme is designed to make time off the slopes as important as skiing itself. Spa treatments, wine, fondue, music and carefully structured festive experiences give guests several ways to use the resort without treating every hour as part of a ski schedule.
myBlend arrives as a new spa partner
The resort is introducing myBlend across its spa with personalised face and body treatments that combine hands-on work with beauty technology. Four Seasons says the Megève property will also be the first destination in France to preview CellSynergy2.
The system combines radiofrequency, ultrasound, electrostimulation and cryo-thermotherapy with a facialist method. It sits alongside myBlend LED technology and the resort’s existing QMS Medicosmetics and signature treatments.
Outdoor wellness moves into the snow
The nearly 900-square-metre spa will use new exterior areas through winter for the first time. Guests can move between a heated outdoor whirlpool, mountain views and a natural-wood sauna with a salt wall.
The resort positions the contrast between heat and cold as part of the wellness ritual. Indoors, flotation sessions use a bed containing 600 litres of Epsom salts, while guided meditation and treatment programmes are designed around recovery after time in the mountains.
Food ranges from Michelin-minded dining to fondue under the stars
Chef Armando Acquaviva leads the French restaurant Benjamin, while Kaito combines Japanese and Peruvian influences. The resort also has a cellar of more than 17,000 bottles, with private dinners and bespoke wine pairings available on request.
Outside, Acquaviva’s signature fondue is served beneath a geodesic dome in the gardens. The recipe combines Comté, Beaufort, Reblochon and Parmesan, linking Savoyard tradition with the chef’s Italian Alpine roots.
A private summit suite offers first tracks
At 1,850 metres, the Suite Idéal provides more than 100 square metres of private accommodation above the slopes. A dedicated butler can organise dinner, stargazing and breakfast before guests step onto the mountain ahead of normal opening.
For yacht owners, an Alpine winter stay offers a useful seasonal counterpoint to life on the water. Megève works particularly well because the same priorities remain familiar: privacy, exceptional food, carefully managed logistics and the ability to move between active days and deeply comfortable downtime.
