Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River has introduced Bangkok Unlocked, a collection of experiences aimed at hotel guests aged thirteen to eighteen. The programme combines creative workshops, culture and activity-led exploration for teenagers travelling with family.
Most experiences are complimentary to in-house guests, according to the hotel, but places are limited and should be arranged through the concierge. It is a separate family programme from the hotel's restaurant and bar awards.
A matcha session at Café Madeleine
Participants can learn to sift, measure, whisk and pour matcha before preparing a personalised latte. The hotel's published session lasts an hour and has a capacity of six guests.
The activity allows teenagers to learn a preparation technique rather than simply order a café drink. It is designed to be participatory from the start.
A mocktail lab inside BKK Social Club
The hotel's cocktail venue also runs an alcohol-free workshop in which teenage participants can learn basic mixing and flavour balance. The format gives them a version of the bar's creative process without serving alcohol.
Other experiences in the collection include Muay Thai and cultural discovery. The emphasis is on an age-appropriate programme rather than access to adult nightlife.
Accommodation arranged for a family
The Palm Court Family Two-Bedroom Room connects a king bedroom with twin beds and provides a total of around 127 square metres. The layout gives teenagers a more independent space while maintaining proximity to parents.
