Breitling and Aston Martin have introduced a Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 inspired by the DB5, offered in three limited editions. The watch marks the first product from the brands' partnership announced earlier in 2026.
The design references the relationship between 1960s sports cars and chronographs without claiming to be a replica of an original film prop. Wood-inlaid details, specially coloured leather and dashboard-inspired subdials establish its identity.
An inspiration that reaches back to 1965
A Top Time chronograph appeared on Sean Connery's wrist in Thunderball, alongside the Aston Martin DB5. The new collaboration uses that period as a point of cultural and visual reference.
The original watch's distinctive character helps explain why Breitling chose the Top Time family rather than a completely unrelated contemporary range. The design connects two brands through a shared era.

The case has a cushion-like shape, grooved corners and mushroom-shaped pushers. Square-round subdials recall instrument gauges, while a wooden inner ring refers to the DB5 steering wheel.
