Riva
Riva is one of the longest-established names in Italian yachting. Its history begins in 1842 at Sarnico on Lake Iseo, where Pietro Riva established the boatyard that developed into an internationally recognised motor-yacht marque. The Sarnico site remains an active Riva production facility today.
Italian design heritage
Riva's reputation was built through generations of refined motorboats and later fibreglass yachts. The modern range spans compact runabouts, open yachts, sportfly models, flybridge yachts and the larger Superyachts Division. Contemporary Riva styling remains closely associated with Officina Italiana Design.
Part of Ferretti Group
Riva is a Ferretti Group brand, giving it access to the wider group's engineering, production and owner-support network while retaining the identity associated with the Riva name. Current smaller Riva models continue to be built at the historic Sarnico shipyard.
Riva 68' Diable
Luxury Yacht Guide's first Riva production record is the Riva 68' Diable. At 20.67 metres overall, the open yacht combines three guest cabins with MAN V12 propulsion and performance ranging from 37 knots with the standard engine package to 40 knots with the higher-powered option.
Where Riva fits
The 68' Diable gives buyers a premium Italian open-yacht reference at around 21 metres, balancing high performance with substantial accommodation and the long-established Riva design tradition.
